    BBS wheels

Here are my new wheels for the GTI. I will post up some 'on car' pics once I have them (this weekend). Thanks to Robin for the deal on the lips!

    Wheels look fantastic!

Did you refurbish them your self? If so congrats im sure all the hard work payed off! Would be interested to know how hard they were to bolt back up and seal and if there were any tricks?

Once again look great and look foward to seeing pics on the car!

They are RS033, 15x6.5, ET34 (or 38, can't remember). They are 4x100 and the centre bore is 57.1mm, which emant they bolted straight on.

I did refurbish them myself. It was easy enough to pull them apart (large mallet and heat gun required) and putting them back together wasn't too strenuous. When you bolt them together you do it 'dry' and then seal the gap after they are torqued up.

I had the centre nuts and lips mirror polished, the centres were powder coated and I hand polished all the bolts (not good for sanity).
