quick tip, when hanging freshly painted parts, find a secure source to hang them off. They left dimples in the concrete... lol

so i gave it a little run today and i noticed the fuel line to the filter is leaking fuel, im thinking the filter might be blocked and this could also be causing the fuel starvation/performance issue i had.

Could the pump be pumping at that high pressure thru the clogged filter to be leaking past the hose?

is there a way i can check the filter for flow?

    thanks

Whenever I change a filter, I tip the in port towards the ground and watch for the colour of the fuel coming out... usually brown.

Its a 20+ year old car and its a part that is often neglected, change it out. I believe the mk2 also has 2 other filters (a pre filter in the tank and one somewhere near the engine bay?
