3 Door GTI's - how many here?

mine was one of those 3 gti's but they are not 3door gti's and neither is crazy gee's one

It looks like a 5 door but weighs 20KG less. Hence it is faster

A three door with hatchback has 2 doors on one side, a single (longer) door on the other, and the hatchback on the back....

Peter I think you have the right idea.
They didn't sell those in Tassie but the we got the rare double roof version because of our 2 heads.

Its you aussies calling a 3 door car a 2 door and a 5 door car a 4 door that confuses the issue.

2 doors + boot = 3door

4 doors + boot = 5door

This is the standard when talking of small hatchbacks, including golfs. Forever use this system, or be considered a freak.

Im upto my second Mk1 3door sold my first about a week or so ago now. It was my first car, shame to see it go really never had troubles with it but my new one is much better. ill post some pics and info shortly
