thank you, I might be getting in contact with you but for other reasons

Don't know where I'm going but I do know where I've been
Who made that? Looks to be of Disney, possibly Pixar quality
Last show, early edition and weather held out until the awards were given out, cars been dropped of on 29th ready for shipping so I'll see you all when it arrives
Snatched 3rd in class, unbeknown to me Shakey entered the car for the show and shine, bit of a shock to hear my reg called out but not as big as Vick who was commentating when he realised it was mine, I never enter these types of things, you try cleaning a black car after a 3 hour run in the sun, what are those rules, oh yes, never wash a car while its hot, never wash the car under direct sunlight, make sure the car your washing isn't black,,,,,,,,,fail, fail, fail

Just got my copy of PVW. Well done.
You down under yet?
Has it landed yet. Saw pics on E38 of it just before departure on steels, still looked good
I'd suggest this is the only car that I know of that has been a UK show award winner that has come to Australia?
The PVW mag it is in is probably the best issue in quite some time, some really solid content in there.
Really looking forward to catch up with you and Al when the car arrives, you know, for other reasons!
Guys please remember, yes it came 3rd at edition and it grabbed the cover of PVW but I drive the thing as often as possible and usually like I stole it, lol. It has battle scars and that's why I love it. Just out of coincidence the mk2 show winner on the day has just gone on sale, £8000,,eeeekkkkkk
I'm semi embarrassed that Alex is going to clock it first as it's prob covered in inches of dust and when I delivered it to the shippers it was on a rainy day so can guarantee it'll look nothing special. I know once I clock yours alex the first thing I'll be doing is ripping the engine out and detailing that plus changing bits of the interior I don't like or dont work as I want it to so my wife going to be very impressed with me fabricating again.
On the way round the M25 my mate was following for the return trip just commented on it looking like a normal everyday golf, not even a gti.
It's amazing what a set of wheels and zero ground clearance can do for a car

Lucky fella. Hope it all goes smoothly and let us know how you get on. Oh and don't be shy with taking photo's of it with your MK1
I love your modesty when it comes to this car and I understand that as the owner you'll always see it's flaws and areas for improvement but you'll soon come to realise how special it a car it will be over here. Back in the UK it's one of many extremely well modified MK2's but over here it's head and shoulder above every other MK2 and is one of the best modified VW's in the country.
It's a car you can be really proud of that's going to make a big impression over here and hopefully inspire more people to build MK2's.
