    More spider fun facts:
Spiders also have eyes on the front of their heads (but usually more than two)
Spiders have featured in WAY more movies than VWs
Spider silk is stronger than steel
Spider mating is VERY dangerous for the male (at least in humans it usually only ends up costing you all your money and your possessions when things go wrong)
The venom of a daddy longlegs spiders is quite potent (but their fangs are too short to inject it into humans)

I dunno, look hard enough and there seems to be a VW in every film. Normally in the form of a Mk4 Jetta/Bora.

Incorrect! Myth busters tested this. I'm sure it's on youtube. They put about 100 daddy long legs in a box and one of the guys stuck his hand in. After a while he managed to get bitten by a couple. This deflated the myth of the fangs being too short.

Secondly, they tested the poison. They found that it is potent, but there are many more poisonous spiders out there. More importantly however, the big issue with daddy long legs is that the amount they inject into you is so small it would take a huge number of bites (from memory around 200?) to actually have an affect.

    Now, back to the arachnidub.

Hey ! He asked for "funfacts", not "truefacts" (I couldn't be bothered doing any research to look for funfacts that were also truefacts, so you got quality in equal proportion to the amount you paid me)
