its lookin like mid july, from what i can see on the snowcams at mt buller.

the snow will melt before the season opens, most likely, but fingers crossed, this season is gonna be good. hopefully there's lots of early snowfall so buller can build their park asap!!!!!!!!

i just need to find a girlfriend that fulfils these criteria:

    a) looks like a jennifer hawkins/ megan fox/ lead singer from pussycat dolls/ anne hathaway/ lucy liu/ catherine zeta-jones/ christina ricci/ jennifer connelly/ brianna frost hybrid

    b) loves filming my laps through the park, and consistently gets GOOD shots

    c) adores putting on my wheel chains so i dont have to get out of the car

    d) gives me long massages after a day up the hill, whilst at the same time making me lots of creamy pumpkin soup and crusty bread baked from scratch

    e) leaves when im full and feeling sleepy

Yeah she wasn't too impressed.....although after a few moments she did ask how much a lifty gets paid, lol. I think being unemployed is beginning to get to her.

The thing is she's never skied/boarded before.....this year could be the make or break of our relationship depending on how she goes, lol

now youre just showing off, I only scored 4 days in Japan.

Ive got 10 days in thredbo in august, but carting an entire family of 5 or 6 from Perth (oldest son hasnt decided yet) is horrifically expensive.

Looking forward to when the kids are independent and i can go snowbaording twice a year consistently

i lived in sapporo for three years. Teine highlands is my home mountain. I love that place.

Spending ten mins pushing through used branches to get to an open field of un touched powder.... Its heaven....

Thats what is important in life..

Gareth, get your bum over here to melb for a week- i dont have a glam apartment but i drive 30 or so day trips a year- we could go riding together and you would only have to pay for your airfares and any rental gear for you etc .

Buller is not comparable to other hills but it atleast keeps your mind fresh in terms of what actually matters.

And my offer goes out to anyone. Anyone who wants to learn how to ride (casi instructor here) who doesnt mind an air mattress on a floor in an oldish apt in melb is more than welcome to send me a pm and come riding.

    Cheers.

yeah i hear you man, 2 of brothers mates have been layed off both now facing bankrupcy. tell her hang in there, things can only get better. my sister went down to the local laundry mat, and asked the owner if she could put up a sign for laundrey services. sure she doesnt earn much, but the time it takes her away from thinking about money woes is invaluble
