The short of it is that Ferrari are accused of tuning their press fleet above and beyond the specs of customer delivered vehicles in order to score better reviews from motoring journalists. The blog post cites several examples including Ferrari refusing to loan a car for track driving until their engineers had specially set it up for that circuit, and supplying a magazine with 2 458s for review but mandating that one was only to be used for straight line tests and the other only for handling tests.
