Teen crashes car what looks like an E46. He's completely not in control of the vehicle and crashes it.

Indeed, holding the wheel all wrong, no appreciation for weight shifting, didn't even steered to avoid going offroad... ESP should've saved him if he did react at the last second. Nice to see no delay in the airbag going off at the very least.

Easier to park in? Those cars sell in the droves to all kinds of Govt bodies, so not really surprising they have spread to the Police, its not like they are all pursuit cars anymore.
I wouldn't be surprised if government (at least part therein with a small budget) were using them, they were car of the year back in 2003/2004 iirc. Decking it out with the police livery and lights is what ruined it for me. Probably never leaves the city or goes above 80kph at the most if I had to guess. That said I've been working in the city for 5 years now and this is the first one I saw.
