    From Mk3 thread on Vortex:

When the ignition switch was bad on my car, the only way to start it was to slam on the steering wheel while turning the key. In the same period of time, my muffler had exploded so it was EXTREMELY loud, and my e-brake didn't work. Also, I had the radio out.

So I go to this girls house to pick her up, she tells me she heard me coming a mile away, and was not very impressed with my banged up, multicolored jawn. In leu of an e-brake I had a big rock I found along the road that I was using as a tire chock. She lives on a hill so 1st gear wasn't enough to keep it from moving. She hops in at the exact same moment I knock out the chock. It jerks back and almost takes her out. She laughs it off and gets in. Get in the car, and head down the hill in neutral, where I pop-start it. Once it starts again, I hand her a pair of ear plugs. The look on her face was priceless. As it starts to get dark, she sees the airbag, and check engine lights on. At this point she starts getting a little worried, "is this thing even safe to ride in?" "If we crash, will this seatbelt hold me?" We went to the movies, and upon exiting, I get in and start SLAMMING on the steering wheel of my car to start it. She gets out her phone and starts calling people for a ride. I was all like "It's fine, I've got this" (car starts, backfires, and does some other weird stuff). We get back to her place, where her dad's waiting for me, he says in not such nice words, that I was "never allowed to show up on his property, or take out his daughter in that car" ever again.

Should have seen his face when I showed up in the Trans Am the next time, haha.
A while back, I installed MK3 handles on my MK2. The ****ty eBay ones. Went on a date and the lock striker on the passenger side got stuck on the door lever. So, anytime you pulled the handle, it pulled the lock. Needless to say, she had to climb out of the obnoxiously large Recaro bolsters, over my shifter and out my side. She laughed, said she thought it was funny. After that, we dated for eight months.

Just picked up a GTI a few days ago and took it out tonight with a friend. Cammed, chipped, intake(d? lolz), straight piped. Went into a tunnel, opened my window and pinned it. She said the way it sounded made her want to take her pants off.

    So stoked on this.
Cruising down the highway with a girl coming back from a nice little date and saw a rather large woop coming, told her to hang on and then shot some sparks on the highway
