    That's just fooked! Seriously.. Who drives over a mattress in the first place? Not to mention keep going after!!

    shouldn't be much mate, it's just the boots, i'm pretty sure you can get stretchy boots that shold just stretch back on still rediculous

    You'd be able to get mega compensation if you know who it came from...littering plus failure to tie down a moving load. They'd get OWNED, and have to pay for every damage that it's caused for you!

    Thats a lot of mess from some plastic, hope it all comes good. Does the bridge have cameras monitoring the traffic? If they do you may be able to view and get who dropped it.

    I had a similar situation many years ago (the plastic, not the mattress ). Ran over a large white bag and it caught on my exhaust. Once it had all cooled down, it solidified and I was able to pull most of it off in 1 piece. There were little bits n pieces left, but they eventually melted off / wore away with enough driving.

    Shame about your CV boot tho. Hope u get it all sorted quick.

    haha, well the first shop wanted to charge $480 for both sides done as the other side has had a split in it for ages. includes drive shafts, cv's and boots jeeeeez, ITS MY DAMB RUNNAROUND! I dont wanna spend that much
