A few years ago I gave my hubby a Coopers beer kit and he got the brewing bug real good.
We hardly ever drink commercial beers now and when we do they just don't measure up.
It's cold and rainy Sunday arvo so I think a chocolatey stout will be in the glass pretty soon!
I think a few of us can agree that it's now time for
Had a massive day at the Nats and not looking forward to the 6am start for out 13 hour drive home.

Someone with taste Don't get me wrong, I'll drink a Corona on a hot summer's day (I usually wouldn't buy it myself, though) but there are a stack of beers that I'd take over a Corona. At the moment I'm into the Schofferhofers and my ol' faithful: Coopers Pale Ale or Becks.

Two words when it comes to a dark beer, Leffe Brune!
If anyone wants a unique beer or cider in Melbourne, try Chapel Street Cellars in Windsor (not far from Dandenong Road). They get in a lot of unique stuff and are a very friendly bunch, plus they're very reasonably priced i.e. Schofferhofer (I don't work for them!!) are about $5 for a 500ml bottle - try finding that cheaper in a pub/bar/restaurant. I usually try something different each time.
A favourite dark beer of mine is Young's Double Chocolate Stout. Mmm it's like eating a cake for dessert!
