    'Doolittle' drool!

My home system is: musical fidelity bi-amp and pre-amp, dahlquist dq30 floor speakers and cambridge audio cd player (very tight but awesome for banging out old aussie and english punk)

Just sold my beloved GT4 complete with Kef splits, alpine dvd head unit and kenwood amp.

Not sure about home theatre but I'd kill for a set of B&W 803D hi fi speakers! Beautiful looking and sounding but prohibitively expensive speakers. Personally I'm not a huge fan of Yamaha hi fi gear (then again I wouldn't suggest going the expense of a Musical Fidelity bi-amp setup either unles you listen to a lot of music!)

Looks good, the question is do you have any SACD's? My Denon dvd player also plays them but have never bothered buying any.

Cambridge Audio gear is good, wouldn't mind upgrading components to CA down the track and a CA DACMagic for the PC setup.

Someone has B&W in the same room as Bose accoustimas / freespace? now thats contrast...

More than enough for apartment living

Would love to get some nice audio going, think a dedicated preamp for the front channel would be a nice way to go.

Been spending my free moneys on the car, can't afford to many hobbies with toys

yeah bi amping can get a little tricky and has to be a very good amp on both channels as you will get a different sound from each channel , if its not not syncd proper

most amps above $2000 g these days you will not have to do that i think , basically keeping a your amp running minamal to one source is all you need with extra good cables and plugs, my cambridge amp will put out 200 watts but its not speaker volume but a sound stage through the whole music which is pure and deep , damn its like a drug somtimes !!!! vw and stereo
