I don't know if you could really call it a family car, but it's technically mineWe have a Evolution X MR Bathurst Edition. Great bit of kit. Seats 4 nicely & enough boot room to carry a pram & do the shopping... But probably not both at the same time

This. Was a very nice ride, fancy electric doors and such too which seemed cooled at 10 years of age. haha. Bucketloads of space, cool storage things ect. Was fun to drive when I got on my license too, had a surprising amount of go for a people mover.
Someone suggested the Pug 307? We have one of those too (not a wagon though) and its caused nothing but problems. Looks wrong to be driving it if your not a 50 year old lady, is slow as **** but uses as much fuel as my little vr6 and understeers like nothing else I've driven. Thousands have already been spent on repairs for it, and its burning oil now amongst other problems which is not good at all. Been telling the parents to get rid of that one while they can for a while![]()
My dads had a voyager as well, those electric doors were fun![]()

Yeah, they're a sad car - nothing at all like my older 306 was. Well, the 306 also needed thousands spent on it to keep it running but at least it looked pretty decent and was a fun drive (best handling FWD I've ever driven along with the MkI Ford Focus)
Hulking great SUV with low profile tyres...
You want sad???
Try my mums Daewoo Nubira that went back to the dealership 17 (SEVENTEEN!!!) times in 3 years!!!
Oh, then the clincher.
I was "gifted" this abomination.
A couple of years later, with the subsequent mocking by mates, I had actually developed some perverse attraction to the car. It was plucky as. I tried, yet couldn't kill it. Took it on many dirt roads with the back constantly getting sideways (wagon weight) and developed good understeer in the wet control. Because it was so simple I knew exactly what it would do and when.
I miss it's practicality but not it's lousy performance lol.
Mums now got a Mazda2 and the old man gets around in a Subaru Outback.
MY01 306 XSi traded for my Golf. Other car is 307 HDi wagon. Bloody flawless and more potent than a mate VE Crappydore.
