The girlie that brought one of my old cars many many many moons ago let me take it for a drive again yesterday (she has just put a TX3 turbo motor in it) - it's a Laser... Lewis the Laser
(I love the fact my old car went to someone who loves it so much)
I'm going to the pub... I may be some time...

The very first car that I named was a Volkswagen Beetle. I would have been 2 to 3 years of age. I called it a "Kerraclock". To this day, I don't know why, or why I recall this bit of trivia.

There once was a band called the Phlorescent Leech and Eddie. They then became Flo and Eddie, then The Turtles. They released a song whose chorus started "Eleanor gee I think you're swell, and you really do me well, you're my pride and joy, etcetera"

That's why we had a 1968 Valiant called Eleanor

We had a Corolla with a number plate that started VAG (I forget the numbers). I called it Ina, but i got in trouble.

Later, we had a 1986 Honda Accord. The pop up headlights led to it being called Agro, after the well known talking bathmat.

I drove this to a shopping centre. I was observed getting out of it by 2 young children. One said "Shaggy!" her mother said "That's not shaggy, dear". I got the plate SH 44 GY and the van is now Shaggy.

My Peugeot, being a frog, has the numberplate NED 33P nedeep nedeep nedeep...

So he's now Ned, the crazy frog.
