a case can be argued for either.

I have fully resprayed 3 cars.

    1. The 16v Mk1 which went oak green, which was a 16v Mk2 colour.
    2. The Mk1 GTI which stayed original Diamond Silver Metallic
    3. The scirocco 20VT ??

The Rocco has a later model motor, so anything is allowable.

I`m leaning toward the green at the mo.

Candy White could look pretty good. As for the engine bay, it depends - how much effort is it really to drop it for the splash of paint Matt? It may be worth the half day for the end result.

A lot more work than half a day Mik.
Boost Hoses, oil lines exhaust and a very tight bay with the engine mounts. Its staying in till I blow something

Along the lines of Paul's posts. Deep Blue Pearl. Official factory colour and pure sex.

Candy white would look a treat and shouldn't affect future re-sale pricing.
