I'm a Porsche fan, so a nice convertable Porsche or two... I'm a very big fan of the late 70's early 80's classic 911, so probably one of those with a little work and maybe a nice new one for fun too.
For the family car, it's probably still going to be the same as is on the cards right now with a Multivan, albeit a fully decked out one Mind you I would also have to get the wife a convertable new beetle in Wiskas purple
If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you. | Refer a Friend - AussieBroadband $50 Credit

Porsche 933 911 GT2 RS
2004 Audi RS6
VW Corrado VR6
Then whatever tickles my fancy over time... Its only money!!
Also, I would hire Walter Rohle for a few days of driver training... I think I would need it for the GT2!!

that golf is fuggin AWESOME.
me, i'm a pretty simple guy, and whilst i used to oooh and aaah at lamborghini's just like everyone else when i was a kid, supercars no longer really hold their appeal for me. something like this:
>Honda Jazz 1.5L hack car [wont bother waiting for it to get to operating temp before i start thrashing it]
>Land Rover Discovery 4, all options, tdi, Overfinch wheels, lowered, tasteful quality sound, dvd screens
>Land Rover Defender, tdi, jacked up with big f*** off 4wd tyres for lake eildon
>Skoda Superb, VIP look
>Mk1 cabby like velly's red one
>My car comes off the road, gets a pearlescent burgundy paint job, leather recaros, lightened flywheel, uprated clutch, TBE, H&R front sway, Coilovers [bilstein or koni], all bushes, custom CAI setup, 16'' matte black tenzo's, garrett gt1749vb + pd150 pipework and manifold, uprated SMIC, LSD, mafless/egr-less tune, HUD
cant really think of any others that i'd actually BUY with the $20m.
actually, i'd also get one of these [with different wheels], the daihatsu tanto:
and yes, stephy, that mk1 is sweeeeeeet. OEM plus!

I would also buy a workshop, like a proper business and work there everyday making people happy to get their car worked on, it would make money and be a great place to hang out. I would clean your wheels with soapy water and dry them before i put the tyre shine on. Oh and i'd remember your birthday and help you get your car looking good to sell if you planned on upgrading. Plus I would answer the phone when you rang, and text you when your car was ready. I'd have a couple of computers with internet on them in the reception area, it would only cost me about $1000 but i'm sure you'd prefer it over the 4x4 magazines on the coffee table at most places. Most of all I'd just talk to you about your car, what u like about it, what u don't, what you need, like etc etc.
You'd be surprised how little you can get for $20 million these days. For instance, the Lexus LFA ($420,000USD) would go for a shave under $500,000 AUD as of 2010.05.31 21:14:44 UTC. I'd say you're better off investing in housing. Unfortunately, vehicle ownership is always a depreciating asset unless the car is a collectable item. But since this is a theoretical situation, the above is negated.
Zenvo ST1 for track days
Audi S8 for carting the family around
Audi A4 3.0 TDI for a daily
