washer fluid additive?

Bars bugs has always been my go to additive. I've never had any problems re blockage etc.

Plain water, a dash of methylated spirits and one drop (literally) of dishwashing liquid. Cheap as chips, and what's more it actually works without damage to paint or wiper blades.
