all i can say is, WOW! it was the most surreal thing i have ever witnessed
i stayed in worthersee for gti treffen for 6 days and it was by far the best time of my life!
i met soo many people, including, the team from bagyard and andrew from openroad tuning, the guys from dubkorps and their sandstorm colored new scirocco, a belgian crew who stayed at my hotel ALL with suuper $$$ wheels and bagged VAG plus a heap more ive forgotten about!
so day1 starts off with a 4 hr train ride from munich.
was pretty cool to see some landscapes, but we touchdown in velden @ worthersee, i get off the train and in the parking lot i see a lonely 2010 polo, on some polished benz wheels slammed
i walked the 200mtrs to the main road, and the whole street coming from left and right is banked up with hundreds and hundreds of tuned vw's audi's seats, skodas, porsches, lambo's EVERYTHING!!
so i called for a taxi to take me to my hotel, i jumped in, so were driving and i asked the driver where the famous shell station is, turns out its on the main street as my hotel HAHA
so we dropped our stuff off, and the owner of the hotel was telling me about a few cars that are staying at the hotel but arnet here anymore, she was also nice enought to drive us to the shell petrol station, it was like a dream! everything that toured worthersee, drove into the shell service station.
after 5 hours of sitting on camping chairs and taking photos, we decided to walk back into velden and catch a taxi back home, we turned up into the parking lot and this time the park was covered in the most amazing cars i have ever seen!
the owners just arrived and were out the front talking, they said hello to me so i introduced myself, told them where im from, they freaked out and laughed, then they asked how me and my girlfriend are getting around, my reply was walking and taxi....... they all laughed and they said "no your not.... were about to go for a cruise around the lake, you and your girlfriend jump in!"
so here are my pics, let me show you them, i havnt edited anything or deleted any i have taken, theres about 600 and something shots and i will show them all
I hate you so much Dom!
Id have to make the pilgrimage oneday
Great pics, sounds like an awesome trip!
