VW Nationals on Classic Restos 06/06/2012 TVS 8pm

I'm told that Fletch from Classic Restos is doing a VW Nationals thing tonight (Wednesday 6th June) on channel 44 TVS @ 8.00pm if anyone wants to tune in and have a watch.

Don't mind Fletch, he has an OK show.
Saw him on the day, will be good to see that stretched Kombi again.

Well that was a little disappointing, the entire show was the aircooled beasts. To be fair the show is "Classic Restos" but when they are talking about the Volkswagen Nationals I expected at least a passing reference and fly by of the newer vehicles... sadly I don't think I even saw any in any backgrounds shots!

That whole bit aside, it was pretty awesome to see our little show on the TV

Exactly what I expected. It was a good episode, there are repeats on the weekend.
The aircooled beasts is what the show is all about, some great examples. Did I hear right, the Kombi limo cost $300K.

While the show is all aircooled based, think how many watercooled owners and watercooled team was there supporting the show.
i agree with Hawk, could have been good to see a walk by or a "at the back corner of the show was..." even for a few seconds.
We will just have to get more numbers there next year to get the attention the watercoolers deserve
