Yeah, if it bothers you then it’s up to you to feed that back to the sales manager first and foremost, or dealer principal. VW Aus would probably appreciate an email too.

But there are plenty of VW dealers around - unless you are severely limited for choice I’d just go elsewhere.

in the end they are just a franchised business and simply some staff are better than others. The better business-people will attract good staff, pay them well, and their business presentation will reflect their efforts to build a business worth dealing with.

unfortunately however, there are a fair few rotten apples. If the Hobart VW dealer wasn’t so good to deal with then I would be driving a different brand because there are no other VW dealers in this city. Sometimes that is the difficult choice we must make, because IMO having a good local dealer is an essential element of the ownership experience. There’s too many good products on the market from other brands - makes it pointless to waste time on a bad dealer.
