Volvo V40

Seems to be a good contender for Audi A3, and higher end mainstream Golfs.

I think if they can keep the base model ~$35, 000-$40, 000 I think they will have a great package.

What do you guys think of it?

Looks good, that seems to be about the end of it though. I can't bring myself to forget Volvo are overpriced fords/mazdas with expensive parts and more issues. I keep looking at s40s and thinking why would I pay so much more than the 6 or mondeo for a few novelties and run the risk of reliability. If they could price more realistically, and resolve quality issues I'd be all over them but my practical brain won't let me as they are.
