I just get the giggles every time I think about Mazda engineering the BT-50/Ranger diesel 4WD ute without the ability to take it off-road . . . it like when I see the 4WD-ers who insist on carrying their bright orange recovery boards on their 4WD around town without a single spec of dust, dent or vegetation scratch on the paintwork on it. I guess some of the potholes can get a bit big around town after the storms :biggrin:

If you really don't have much faith in the VW product, perhaps sell it and move on?

And ford ranger was not highest selling 4wd in Aus last year - that was Toyota hilux (as per usual for the last several years).
