Hahaha boo-hoo!
there used to be someone that turned up to VW club events in a car that had massive stickers all over it saying it was a "Lemon".

The US has lemon laws, so no idea why they're in that situtation.
I don't like people like this. One car does not mean the entire brand is a lemon (which is what most try to say, and the media when they come across stories like this).
I had a Subaru that could almost be called a lemon. It's turned me off Subarus but not enough to a) never buy another and b) not recommend them. The way the dealer dealt with me, on the other hand, was enough for me to actively tell people not to deal with them.

lol.... well, that seems a little peculiar...
oh, and as for ''vw hation'', you should have seen the ZA forums for the polo tdi sportline (96kw) when they started popping turbos in south africa.... so many people were ripping on VW, saying how crap they are, saying how they'll never buy another (because of a mere popped turbo, nevermind the bulletproof VAG 1.9L diesel that's seen many people on tdiclub.com forums go beyond 400,000 MILES), how hyundais and protons are far superior, etc etc.....
meh, im happy to be driving a ''crap'' car.....
What? I'm a Jetta owner and I can't relate. Therefore it makes their argument invalid.Being a VW Jetta owner I can TOTALLY sympathize.... this is probably the last VW I will EVER own...
