    I work in publishing and i can see how this can happen with deadlines looming stuff like this can easily slip through.
    When sourcing the picture it should may have been labeled incorrectly but having said that it is not really acceptable for such a focused publication to make such errors as the sub-editor/editor should have noticed it. Doesn't the editor own a MK1?

    It doesn't surprise me that this happened because although i have only bought the mag once or twice, it is not very well produced and confused in its layout & presentation. To me it's basically a 'club' magazine.

    The MK1/2 confusion isn't confined to this mag though, i've had to explain the difference to folk over on vwgolf.net.au. MK1 pictures being posted in the MK2 picture thread (and vice versa) tut tut

    I know of the text contributor and there is no way he would stuff the images up.

    The Designer and Editor need to goto VW school !!!
