i used alot of different businesses over the years. you have always got your good and your bad. the big places don't have idea unless you own aussie or jap car (which i always expected anyway) and some european suppliers (not going to name places) still don't have much idea or turn their noses up at me and give me some grumpy attitude when i ask 'supply only'. i never gone to imparts or even seen them to be honest, drive past about 20 times a day, maybe should make see them next time

German Auto Parts over in the US is the way to go (check recommended suppliers). I got my front rotors through them. Was cheaper to buy both rotors and ship them here plus get them slotted locally for the price of what VW Australia wanted for one non slotted rotor! Even when the dollar went bad they were still cheaper.
That said with the pads, my front ones are also used on a couple of AMG Mercs as well as my car. However yeah if they're a totally different pad that won't fit then seriously what the hell???
    Cheers,

GAP might be cheaper, but if you need parts urgently (like I did with my clutch cable) and want to support a local (ish) business, then give Imparts a go. They know what you're talking about when you want an obscure part on a 30 year old car, and if they don't have it in stock then they can get it in within a day or two.

Their number is 8260 3577 - their card says they're 'The European Parts Specialists'.

    No I don't work there!
