Glad to say we went 100mts up the road to the VW dealer and he is now looking at the Polo GTI for 8k less and delivery next month as there is one on a boat.
Well done Toyota on a great test drive sales strategy.
For the record the car looks great but the interior is a dodgy as he'll in the quality stakes and you could just about fit a six year old in the back with the seats pulled forward (wife would have to be driving).. :facepalm:

Interesting - bit a short-term gimmick in my opinion. The people that will do this are of the same mentality as those who already have orders on the next iphone. It creates hype and a short-term feeling of exclusiveness. Once the lead times shorten, they'll start putting them in dealerships.Quote:
