Sure it isn't as good as the US series (which is now up to Season 18 out at Christmas!) but it does enough to pass the weeks before the next season of UK comes out.

Plus you actually recognise a lot more of the cars from the older car challenges.
season 18??? how many seasons per year, 6? lol

team_v has a typo there, he meant to say "isn't as good as the UK series", but yeah, Top Gear UK is up to Season 18. And yes, that's 18 series since Jeremy Clarkson "rebooted" Top Gear in October 2002.... So they're averaging 2.x season per year

    Nice catch there Corey.
    Updated to reflect that

They do roll out about 2 seasons per year (each about 6-7 episodes now) since the 2002 UK reboot.
Add to this 2 seasons of US topgear (8-10 episodes) and you have half the year covered!

But I'd hardly call it the same format. Watch more than 2 episodes and get back to us.

In the existing Top Gear thread (already in this forum), the feedback is generally good. Some weeks people have liked Top Gear USA more than Top Gear UK.
Well, I followed your advice and watched 2 more episodes. My opinion remains unchanged.
