Just takes practice to text while driving and depends how good you are at multiple tasking.
I wouldn't recommend it to young drivers though, but returning a text can wait till ur stopped at a set of lights etc.

I can't text while driving, and can barely text while walking, dam iphone.
as a paramedic, i can say that texting and driving, regardless of how multiskilled you think you are is just asking for trouble.
there is usually no one factor in motor collisions, inexperience, age, speed, distractions, ability all come into play. I see a lot of people on the road do a lot of dumb things, but texting must come a very close first.
if you are in the seat with the steering wheel in front, you are obliged for your safety and others to concerntrate on driving, so many things can happen quickly that you should be paying full attention.
if some texting idiot ran over my kid i would personally rip him out through his own air vent.....
I reckon talking on the phone is easier than texting...however they're both stupid and aren't really necessary whilst driving!
Stop and pull over if its an emergency and if not im sure it can wait![]()
You should be concentrating 100% on driving when you're driving. Not on reading or sending SMS messages, or on looking at things other than the road and the other vehicles on it.
None of us are perfect, but when you can so easily avoid a distraction by simply ignoring it...
Nothing to see here...
I've got to make the comment as to why an add like this is even necessary? On what planet would it be considered normal to text and drive at the same time?
As Maverick said attitudes and skills are where the focus needs to be.
Mickey started to get into it, these things need to be coming in at the school level showing kids the effect of crashes and teaching them common sense in the first place.

Hmm interesting, I wouldn't recommend it but its easy enough to text and drive just concentrate extra hard and you'll be fine!![]()
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...
Lol everyone who says its OK to text while driving is a goose.
Its the stupidest thing you can do while driving. I have NEVER seen someone text and drive in a straight line. No mater how good you think you are, if something unexpected happens you wont have the same reaction time. Sure its safe in a straight line where there are no unexpect variables but this is the real world and that doesnt excist.
I can't see why its that urgent to return a text, if its in a text it can wait. I guess some people are lonley and need all the attention they can get.
