Been watching re-runs of Top Gear on Austar/Foxtel
A while back, the Stig was shown doing a high dive from top of aircraft carrier :goodluck:
A later show paid tribute to some of his prowess.
Am I being cynical, eg, method used by BBC to say goodby? Or was it a case
of a stunt too far? :(

It was just a way of farewelling the old, black, Stig who had outed himself as Perry McCarthy, F1 driver (just).

is it just me, or did TGUK recently divulge the stig as being Michael Schumacher?

Yes they did but we all know it was more of a joke and mostly because of the Ferrari FXX which Ferrari would only allow certain people to drive.
