Fair call, no onboard filming in future and speeding oh well got to slow down, sold the bike…

My Lawyer was a Highway Patrol Officer and Police Prosecutor and local to the court. Being nice to a cop will get you nowhere i've learnt. May as well tell them to "bugger off" the judge won't care care about at that.

I'd get somebody better for the appeal.

Keep in mind the appeal is on points of law rather than your guilt or innocence.

With Police - you can still show respect while saying "no" or declining to answer.

64km over. I assume you were arrested on the spot and taken to the local pen. In some states you would have lost the bike too.
I hope your appeal goes well, is there a chance the judge adds more to it ?

I walked from the scene leaving my bike there and a summons with statement of facts arrived 6 weeks later in the post.
My Lawyer advised that when appealing the judge can give a caution which means it would be sensible pull out immediately and nothing will be added on, no caution and a benefit is sure to follow.
    Live and learn i guess

Good luck with the appeal. I guess it depends on the other offenses a bit, but I know the old pacific well and I can understand the circumstances.
