Spare Parts Opening Hours

Is it normal VW practice for a dealer not to open their spare parts department on a Saturday Morning?
I ordered something for my car and said I'd be there Sat to pick it up.
Drove over and there was no one to help me...."sorry the parts department is shut"
I was told that once the dealership got busier they would open up then..???
Seems an odd way to conduct business to me.

Your issue is with the Dealer not VWA.

I never mentioned VWA but yes my issue is with the dealer.
Maybe they're too busy to open Saturdays after sending me letters, sms messages and phonecalls to try and get me to service my car at 7,500kms instead of 15,000kms as per the book

I don't think you can do much about it, if they choose not to open on Saturdays. I deal with many businesses that are closed on Saturday.
