    So you think your VAG gets a sooty intake...

    Pic i was sent from the intake manifold of a toyota 76 series turbo diesel V8 ute with 120,000km.

    All too familiar

    I work at a Mitsubishi dealership. The 3.2 commonrail diesel engines can suffer badly from carbon built up like your photo there. Some are so bad your lucky if the vehicle can exceed 70kmph.
