ive got the iphone 4. had a 3gs before that too. i wouldnt get anything other than one just because i am so used to the operating system and i have a macbook.
i think the old 3 design was much nicer, the 4 is **** because its easy to break. mines currently got a cracked front and back screen. but its a great phone with good apps and they have improved the battery vastly.

I have had a HTC One X for a month or so. The battery is much better than the HTC Sensation I had before that. No issues or complaints yet, none with the Sensation either, other than the battery which just made it through a day.

I have a cheap ****ty HTC Wildfire (the cheap prepaid one you can get) and have heard the htc's have a 2 year warranty when most the others have a 1 year one, not that I'm overly worried about that stuff but its something to keep in mind. Mines been through a lot of abuse and seems to be still going somewhat strongly, phones rarely last me over a year due to my stupidity (the last one ended up in a bon fire after a "few" drinks one night) but this ones coming up on two. When I first got the HTC though the battery wouldn't even last through a working day if I got it off the charger just before leaving. Tweaked some settings and it was better but its still not brilliant, although can last me a day or two now if I don't use it much (the battery seems to have gotten better over time??)

I'm looking at getting a new phone though and when I do I'm fairly sure it will be an iphone, pretty much entirely for the fact that they are compatible with so many more things (mainly, I can plug one in and have full control through my car stereo, but ipod docks etc aswell) and there are more apps and such available, even though I think the other smart phones would be technically better.

HTC phones bounce the best so I like them. iPhones dont bounce very well at all.

Love the Galaxy S2 on Telstra Next G, does pretty much everything you could want, and if Android itself doesn't fulfil some need or want, there pretty much has always been a good 'app for that', most of which are free.

Besides the smaller battery (which lasts for about 30 hours for me, but I charge it overnight regardless) it's easy to see why it was called the best smartphone last year. btw battery usage is determined largely by what (or how many) background apps/services are running. I've got a free app that automatically kills background apps not on a 'white list' every so often.

The word 'iPhone' makes me think of a heard of sheep jumping over a non-existent log...
