Correction, I was at 9/10 too... Didn't see any fights though - was sitting on top of the hill all day. There were those tossers who tried to put a flag up that copped some abuse but I wouldn't call it a fight.

i would beg to differ, the silverstone GP is a MUCH BETTER weekend than Melboune. Melboune is great, i go each year, but silverstone is something else.

Yeah, I'd love to see some of the tour in person. Just seeing it on TV, I don't think we can really appreciate how fast they go over such terrain for such a long period of time.

What? Pedal? Nothing extraordinary about that.

Their fitness and mental strength is extraordinary. What they do on the bike is learnt by most people when they're kids. Those guys just apply it at a professional level.

Well you can't do it, Pedaling at an average speed of 50km/h plus on a bike for over 6 hours a day is quite extraordinary, anyone can pedal a bike, like anyone can run 100m, but not everyone can run under 10 seconds. And yes, fitness and mental strength is a major part. The whole package of what they do to me is extraordinary.

And what? Stepping on the floor with your right foot is any better?

Don't slap athletes and coaches in the face with comments like that.

ANY and EVERY sport can be done with the human body at a young age. There's so many factors that make an elite athlete, and it's extraordinary and if they are recognised for being in the city/country/world, then it's nothing to spit at.

I didn't say it was something to spit at. Riding a bike is NOT extraordinary. Kids can do it from when they're 4 or 5. What is extraordinary is how long and how fast these guys ride for. How fit they are, mentally and physically. I wasn't slapping anyone. Simply pointing out that what they do on the bike (which is pedal) is not the part that's extraordinary.

Go to Monaco, it isn't that expensive if you stay in Nice and catch the train in.

Me, I'd like to see if I could squeeze a 24 Hours of Le Mans. Now that I would camp out for.
