    Sign write or transfers??

Ok its time the big whiteboard called a LWB T4 had some signage. I know some of the brizzy guys have gave me contacts but as my other phone fell into a gallon of oil i have another now and lost all contacts pretty much. There is so many people into it now, was wondering if any of you have had good experiences with any and pricing of course.
    Cheers in advance

    Hey Jimmy,

I've had much experience with signage and if you are asking whether to go signwriting or vinyl lettering, go vinyl, no ifs buts or maybes. I spend thousands of dollars a month on vinyl signage but all in Sydney so no contacts in Brissie. I'm on leave next week but will ask one of my staff to find if my supplier in has contacts in Brissie if you wish.

    Cheers

I got the vinyl cut and stuck it on myself to save $$s. You need steady hands and nerves of steel.

Glad to hear you are doing it, it makes a lot of difference to your business.

Or knowledge of the tricks of the trade; apply with water with just a tad of detergent liquid to enable you to slip and slide into place before squeegee'ing the water away.

Fair call Jimmy, the "wrap" techniques they have these days are quite incredible, leave the previous vinyl decal generation for dead.

see if you were in melbourne I could of done this for you

Just go vinyl as it's easiest to change or remove when you go to sell the vechical.

Don't start anything without a quote, most places should be able to do your artwork for you all inclusive, have a clear idea and explain it with as much detail and references as you can.
Should have proofs of art for you to sign off on before they even touch the printing stage (this should take about a week if starting from scratch).

When it comes to the print don't settle for banding crap prints,
check them over before they go on the car, and send them back for reprint if need be.
Its 2010 there is no excuse for **** prints at large format anymore, at 5ft away should look like photo quality.

If you want I can do the art, you'll just have to find a printer and installer up there.
