Dug this one out of the archives last night. It's an R32 GT-R competing in a hillclimb at Mount Panorama. I think I took it in 2006
Went to Koala Park yesterday, 50mm f/1.8 in hand. My favourites:
Thinking of getting an f/1.4 now, primes are great to use!

If you want to play without paying $XXXX, maybe try this...
I did it when I got my first SLR (10D) to learn a bit about creative photography.
Basically you buy a Canon adaptor for old non-autofocus lenses for <$50 (I paid $20 ages ago) and then use it with old lenses at mega apetures.
135mm 1.8 apeture... I had a box of lenses including this one given to me by rellos.
Ahhh, sounds cost-effective for sure - are those old lenses the models with the FD designation? I see a lot of them for very low prices on eBay...
Yeah man, $50 including shipping from Hong Kong.

You can sometimes find primo ones that have gold af sensor points on the adaptor.
Those units won't make the old lens autofocus (can't without an motor in the lens) but they will give AF-lock confirmation using the red light and *beep* which is very useful.
Relying on your eye to focus is a tricky art!
