    Of course

I just happen to think the thumb wheel is retarded, the menus counterintuitive, and the handling exceptionally clunky.

Note that I am talking about an old 35mm slr, but I feel many of these issues apply to the current canon digital range, particularly the entry level models. The 400/450d in particular has terrible ergonomics; if you used it side by side with it's competitors from nikon or pentax you'd be in for a treat. Unles you have really really tiny hands.

Yeah I think that's what made me choose the 450D over the Nikon and Pentax... They felt a little chunky to me, especially the Pentax.

    Haha, Canon for little people?

Haha, definately user friendly, got myself a hand me down 30d for a few hundred bucks the other with a nice lense. Never realised how much of a skill it is to take pictures

Might post a few up if I get any 1/2 way decent ones...

Very nice Phil...Is it a Yak or a La??

I'm in the process of finishing off an Aussie Beaufighter from the Tamiya 1/48 kit atm.

It's the Academy La-7 in 1/48, here is my Beau

& thanks preeny, there are many that are far better than I, I just build what I like to the standard I want, which is why I've been in a slump for 2 years. For some reason I lost confidence with my airbrush ( around the time I found this forum!) & just stopped. I'm not the type of modeler who will have multiple builds on the go at once so if something stops me everything stops.. & sometimes its hard to get started again.

In this case, I walked into my model room one night a couple of weeks back, walked to my stash of kits ( I have several hundred to build before I die..)without the lights on & selected a box! The La-7 is the result...
