Awesome Photos Phil...Hope you didn't have to worry too much about FOD or Roo's all the way out there. The new paint schemes look nice on the H models too. Better than the old Cam scheme.
Hahahahaha...Thr RAAF repainted all of there 'H' model Hercules about 18 months ago in the Low Visibility Green and Gray scheme... It suits it alot better.
I have a real thing for the old Hercy Buses, but you don't want to travel in one when you are vry hung over...The constant droning really hurts!!
HI Guys,
My other, other hobby, apart from VW drooling and photography, is military modeling. Written a couple of books on it too - it's nice to have the hobby sort of pay for itself after all these years.

Where ever possible I try to base my model upon wartime photos of the real thing, in this case, a German Panther tank, abandoned in France in August 1944.
The real thing:

PS love the Herc shots!
:o Fantastic models! How long would it take you to make a similar model? And what's the scale for that specific model in your post?
I'm massively into model making too...I thought I may have been the only one on here after starting a thread a while ago...You model looks amazing. I have been into Military Model Making for over 20 years, but unfortunately I don't think I am up to your level of modeling!! I am mostly into dioramas. I am lucky in that I have access to many of real life references(Like in the case of the M113A1 MRV), and it is also a tax deduction for me too!! These are some of mine...
