Sales Threads - have some respect...

All too often I am starting to see people trying to offer stuff for sale in other peoples threads.

This is not on guys, in other forums you'd get spanked for this.
No stuff like - Oh I've got one of those for sale too...

Stop the crap and rudeness - start your own thread.

Same goes for starting a discussion in a sales thread - not your thread, start another in the relevant section.

Someone's personal sales thread is exactly that. Ask a relevant question about the item for sale and leave it at that. Stuff like condition , PCD, price, age and use of item, etc...

It's not a review thread either - Oh is the Whiteline better than the ECS antisway bar? DUNNO he is selling the Whiteline aarrgghhh

ok rant over.... I'm better now, must breathe..... sorry....

The classifieds on here aren't too bad in comparison to other forums.

But I agree with the points raised.

true, pretty good here, but it is sneaking in a little more.

I guess it should be stopped before it starts.

It's also important for a sales thread to be complete: price, location, condition, postage, mileage, pictures etc... perhaps a proforma template like on some other forums I'm on

All this talk of sales reminds me that I have a thread for sale. It's in good condition, going cheap, only a few posts old
