Thread: Rip: Marco simoncelli

  1. #11

So sad to lose a great up and coming rider not to mention a character of the pack. I couldn't believe what had happened as I was watching the race. After such a great race at Phillip island, i was hoping for more to come in Sepang, Spain and the 2012 season for Simoncelli.
It really is a tough pill to swallow if u are a fan of gp and bikes in general.
    R.I.P Simoncelli.
    U will be sorely missed!

Don't know what channel 10 are going to show at 10.30pm. (the delayed coverage of the race)

I just saw the crash played on a news clip in an ad break. I think that is very distasteful by Channel 9.

I was looking forward him to winning the world championship in at least one of the next 3 seasons - RIP

RIP. Another massive talent and character lost
Really shocking and you're right very bad taste of all the TV networks showing the accident in such detail. ABC showed onboard footage from Rossi's bike. Not necessary.

yea wouldn't surprise me at all. He and Sic were best mates and Rossi hasnt had the same confidence since breaking his leg last year. He is "too old and has too much money" to risk anything.

I was so shocked when I heard the news. Didn't see the race as I was watching the Rugby Final.

I'm shattered, he was such a character and had such great potential that was starting to show. He would have been a world champion for sure in the coming years.

    RIP you will be missed
