this is awful news. i only met chris last sunday, he was a great bloke and i had a little moment of bliss when i directed him into the basement carpark at the bowls club and heard him rev through the tunnel. i had a great chat with him about our respective vr6s and future plans for all sorts of cars. he was able to offer great insight and showed how passionate he was about all things motoring.
i hope this doesn't offend, but he was probably doing one of the things he loved the most at the end.
condolences to his family in this time.
    Cheers, Rudiger

It's very sad news. We lose too many young males on our roads.

You guys have to be so careful. You think you can do what you can't do. You are not invincible. You don't have the skill you think you have. You are not safe.

It's not your fault. Your brain isn't able to accurately assess the risk yet.

His parents will be devastated. It's every mother's fear. How do we keep them safe and help them grow at the same time?

didnt know the guy at all, however seen his posts and loved his vr6 ..

very sad to hear something like this would happen, and regardless of what anybody says speeding at x speed of what the "alleged" speed was or wasnt is regardless. we all do things that arent the brightest of things to do so we cant make out he was the only one..

hopefully we learn to all slow down, especially over this christmas and take it easy..

condolences to his family and his friends, i hope he'll be safe now ...
