    Remote mount Turbo

I was shown this tonight, some very interesting looking little toys:

Wonder if you could get one hooked up to a Golf without too much trouble?

generally, air weighs nothing in a vaccum, hence it can move quite quick, regardlesss (in this case) of the distance.

For cars that don't have the space under the bonnet. Lots of V8s getting around with them from what i've read.

Yep! I think Yarrow Thorne was the one behind it.

Edit: Yep, anth covered it in his buildthreads blog too! http://buildthreads.wordpress.com/20...o-mkiii-jetta/

Not a fan for me. Too much more stuff to sort out doing it remote and for what gain? There is space in the hood for a turbo in a vr6 esp since kinetic sell a turbo kit. A turbo manifold isnt that expensive anyway and a bunch of places like 034motorsport, kinetic, atpturbo, spa all sell vr6 manifolds.

A remote kit just makes things more complicated...my 2c
