Pics?? It's a pretty brief description.
Hi there all, i know i have not been on the forum for long but id like to clear up some confusion i have right now. My cousin wants to sell me his 1979 golf for a cheap price, but here is the catch. It has a bit of rust, it was defected for track width with some bbs meshies on. So im not sure if it would go smoothly through regency or it is not worth the hassle as there might be a lot of work involved? if so what kind of work and what is the avg price i am looking at to get it back on the road? Cheers

Im pretty sure that this car has coilovers also. You will have to put the standard suspension back in and replace the wheels on there, preferably with the standard ones.
Providing they don't find any more defects while they are looking over it, it should be fine. Sorry to put a dampener on things, but sometimes they can be kents.

Why not go and have a look at the car with a mate who knows stuff about cars? Once again, the ad is pretty brief...
