Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know any good dealers in Melbourne that are VW enthusiast "friendly". Thanks for your help!

Burwin Volkswagen are great.
+1.
Never once, no matter what car, have I gone to take a test drive with these guys, and they've insisted that I take a dealer-nanny. In fact, they just give away the keys, and let you make your own mind up.
Oh, and during the buying/ negotiating process, they're really lax- far more so compared to other duderships who press even after a single tyre-kicking test drive.
Make the trip to Burwin, go up Mtn. Hwy or Welly road - it's a well situated dealership.
Cheers
New Ringwood looks nice!
Just don't go near a Barloworld (Moorabbin especially) if you expect friendly, competent service.
