cant go past some good old sketch show, most eps are downloadable on the net aswell
other that that I-T crowd or peep show give a good laugh

Life on Mars (UK policeman in coma goes back to the '70s)

what about the "terminator" tv series, supposed to be pretty good. and i am bias but "house" can be good too.
