In the last couple of weeks, I've been fortunate to have been taken for lunchtime cruises by a workmate in whatever 'loaner' that Porsche Melbourne had lent him. (his old Boxster was in for 5 weeks of hail-damage repairs to every panel !!!)
Ride 1 was in a new Boxster S, black with roof down and the 'G-forces' on take-off and cornering were making me feel ill !!! At the end of our cruise, even he said he could never go back to his old Boxster and promptly rang the dealer and did a trade-in on his old one.
Ride 2 With the deal done above, his car went back to change-over his numeric, black & white plates, so he was given a white, 4-door Panamera for the day. 4.8lt. V8 and wow did this thing boogy with 4 blokes inside...a phenominal take on a sporting-saloon...a bit ugly, but it really seems to turn heads..
(have previously done a cruise with him in a diesel Cayenne and even that was pretty cool too..)
