Hey guys, I see a couple fo you live out my region of town. I live in Chapel Hill so I see Maca and Swalee are near me. I went down and checked out the sight near the Regatta. How fast is the water travelling!! It is incredible. I am going to go back and check it out this afternoon. It is amazing. I hope you all are alright. Stay safe.

Hope Guy/James (Harding Performance), Mike Webber and Glynn are okay, haven't heard from them yet.
If anything, it will just be property damage rather than them going missing.

Hey guys, Glynn is fine. I spoke to him earlier and he was at a mate's house at New Farm. It's a real maze to get from Toowong to anywhere east but DrewR and I took the plunge (with the Tig) and snapped some shots. Will post them asap.

Haha good one mate, time for the blame game. Just because they didn't release some water we have the worst floods in 35 years. We've just been in a drought for ~10years, releasing bulk water is not on the top of the to-do list.

    As AusScare said, good one.
No one could have predicted the crazy levels of water that were dumped on the South East.

SEQ Water are doing their best to give us time to prepare by holding back an apocalyptic amount of water at the moment at a level that is close to the top of the dam.
The real problem here isn't SEQ Water, it is the Bremmer river which has no control options on it, so all that water in Ipswich is caining down towards Brisbane and ther eis nothing we can do about it.

It's all good and well to try to blame some government group but i know for a fact that the actions of SEQWater have saved more lives than if they had done nothing.
Property/posessions can be replaced, lives cannot and they have given people a lifeline.

Unfortunately people have shown their lack of intelligence buy building in known flood areas and not doing proper checks (Which are available for free in Brisbane Area).
