lol, I wasn't expecting to actually win any races today. Thanks for the invite; was fun.

Racing was indeed clean except for a problem one laggy person caused on SS5. Tiny amounts of bumping/leaning when not enough room was left but no problems caused by it as far as I could see. Which race was the one that counted towards your points table?

Will try and get some footage uploaded on Thursday.

Sports Soft was a good starting point, taking out the wins was a nice bonus lol.

Arie's Lags was really bad on SS5, even killed the restart!
the final two races were fun, there was abit of bumping at the begining but if you read the forum we are trying our best to get rid of that.
the SS7 and the Toscana tracks were the points ones. All will be expained on the forum. glad you enjoyed it.
Next week is the Nurburging for the title of "King of the Ring"

    Should be good!

I don't get the tyres thing yet... are people on different ones? When others had good lines I wasn't flying past, only when they made mistakes and I didn't. I think the car itself had a lot to do with my result, was very easy to drive.

I didn't have any problems with 98% of the contact... when you're that bunched up with no peripheral vision (would need triple screen) it's almost impossible not to. Also no headlights in the dark made it a tad harder to see people flying up behind in the rear view mirror. But that Toscana was a fun track considering I don't think I've ever driven it before. I had a great Mt Aso track but it was made before you could race them online, so you can only download it and use it in single player.

GP or Nordschleife next week? Which car?

we run a "3 tier" system due to the different level of drivers we have.
Tier 3 = newbie, these run Sports Soft tyres.
Tier 2 = Average Racer, these run Sports Medium (most of our racers are this level)
Tier 1 = Pros, These run sports hards (currently only 3 drivers run this)

the reasoning behind this is to try and equal out the field.
Next season you will see this also with the tier system but using different powered cars.

Currenty we all run the same cars, but a T3 driver will set the fastest flying lap...but a T1 driver will be more consistant over the whole race hence this will equal up the total race time. I am a T1 driver (but not very consistant lol)
I have have you as a T2 driver for Season 6, I am trying to phase out T3 as most of us have been racing for a while now and should be stepping up to the mark.

Next week, not sure what cars...keep an eye out on the forum tho!

I am interested in this.. But it seems pretty full on.... Ive never done any online racing in GT5.

Can you maybe give me a link to do a little reading about this.

    Cheers!

I think Velly makes it sounds a tad more serious than it is... that was my experience anyway. Possibly since the season is nearly finished and top positions have already been claimed.

Link is in the first post.

Just putting the videos together now to upload tomorrow - taking longer than I expected.

    Hi Brenton,
Ryan is right, i do make it sound more full on than what it is but we do try to play within some basic rules (but trying to keep it clean is the name o fthe game)

Do not be scared if you have not raced online before, we have had newbies race with us in the past.
Please read the first post in this thread for links to our forum.
any questions I am only happy to help.
We are normall all online alot more but most of the team are playing black ops every night lol and I (well, the wife) have just a baby so my online time is limited to just tuesday night.

Looking forward to the video Ry, I will try to grab some tonight.

good to see we are getting more interest
