There's also the RAA - they come to the car and do a comprehensive inspection, produce a report and email/fax it to you. Personally I prefer these types of inspection as the reports are often quite extensive, and the higher-tier inspections cover a ton of items.

Thank, I actually got in touch with Transporter ad he was really helpful, agreed to inspect the car this week.
I will keep in mind the RAA though.
