Polo GTI used to ram hotel - Sydney

Is this article about anyone on here ... dunno if I'd admit to it though !!! Not a nice way to treat a Polo GTI !!!!!!

Driver wouldn't take no from bouncers

A DRUNK man mounted the steps of the Coogee Bay Hotel in his car to gain revenge on heavy-handed security who had just thrown him out.

After being aggressively dismissed from the pub for being too drunk the man promised bouncers he would get them back.

The driver then stormed off and returned in his silver Volkswagen hatchback and sped towards the doormen standing outside the entrance to the hotel.

"He was really angry after the harsh way he was treated by security. He raced towards them in his car and after two attempts to get up the gutter he then piled into the hotel steps,'' a witness said.

"Bouncers then reached into his car and started punching him before police arrived.''

The man was arrested by officers.

Hot hatch and a bulldozer. Really is a jack of all trades.

That's a bitch of a gutter to get over with such small wheels.

None really but if someone had pointed a car at me and tried to run me over I'd probably do the same. Anyway, who's to believe what is written in the papers? Could well be they reached into the car to take the keys and a scuffle started.

The idiot in the car was responsible for the incident escalating to that point, sorry I don't care if the bouncers did "start puncing the driver", he deserves to be horsewhipped.

I agree that this was a completely idiotic decision on the drivers part..and it looks like he wasnt too drunk given he drove his car at the centre of the three hotels in his vision. BUT the bouncers still have the right to reach in and punch the guy, given its not exactly self defence if the car stopped!

Having seen the size of the bouncers at the coogee bay, I think that Polo would have come off 2nd best if it had collected one of those gorillas.
